What is Dolomite?

Dolomite powder is a common rock-forming mineral with a composition of calcium magnesium carbonate. Its chemical formula is denoted as CaMg(CO3)2. Dolomite is the second most abundantly found carbonate mineral. It exists as the primary component of sedimentary and metamorphic rock. It is also commonly found in hydrothermal deposits.

Dolomite powder is pure white, insoluble in water, with a relative density of 2.5, stable chemical properties, and a slippery feel. Dolomite powder can improve the hardness, fire resistance, acid and alkali resistance, electrical insulation and dimensional stability of the product. It is widely used in plastics, rubber, cables, paints, coatings, ceramics, EVA, and other industries.
Hamdail’s dolomite powder processing is generally divided into coarse powder processing (0-3mm), fine powder processing (20 mesh-400 mesh), and dolomite ultrafine powder deep processing (400 mesh-2500 mesh) three types, select the appropriate equipment according to different processing techniques.

is a high-quality, natural stone that is known for its stunning appearance and versatility. It features a beautiful white color with subtle grey veining, giving it a luxurious and sophisticated look. This dolomite is widely used in various applications such as countertops, flooring, wall cladding, and even decorative accents, adding elegance to any space. Additionally, its durability and resistance to stains make it a popular choice for both residential and commercial projects.

Off White Dolomite mineral is a type of carbonate rock that is commonly found in sedimentary environments. It is composed of calcium magnesium carbonate and has a distinct off-white color, often with shades of gray or yellow. Dolomite is known for its hardness and durability, making it a popular choice for construction materials and as an ingredient in cement production. Additionally, it is also used in the manufacturing of ceramics, glass, and fertilizers due to its high magnesium content.

1.   Used in rubber, it can increase the volume of the rubber, improve the processability of the rubber, play a role of semi-reinforcement or reinforcement, and can adjust the hardness of the rubber
2.  In plastics, it can increase the volume of the plastic, reduce the cost of the product, improve the dimensional stability of the plastic and the hardness and rigidity of the plastic, improve the heat resistance of the plastic, and improve the astigmatism of the plastic
3.  Used for exterior wall insulation mortar, putty powder, ball factory lawn self-leveling mortar, epoxy floor, exterior wall latex paint, real stone paint, FRP sand pipe, coating, etc.
4. Mainly used as a flux for alkaline refractories and blast furnace iron making, ingredients for the production of glass and ceramics. It is also used as a flux in the glaze
5. Used in the production of calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer and preparation of magnesium sulfate
